Job summary

Jobot seeks a strategic CFO/VP of Finance to oversee financial planning, capital strategy, reporting and performance for a diversified real estate portfolio in the Washington, DC area. This hands-on leadership role partners with executives, lenders and investors to optimize liquidity and value creation.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in real estate finance, debt markets and complex transactions, plus strong modeling, budgeting and communication skills to drive disciplined capital

Qualifications

• Significant progressive finance leadership experience, ideally as CFO or VP of Finance.
• Experience within commercial real estate investment, development, asset management or private equity.
• Demonstrated knowledge of debt financing, capital markets and financial structuring.
• Strong financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, budgeting and investment analysis skills.
• Experience overseeing financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Understanding of real estate acquisitions, development budgets, JV and portfolio performance.
• Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a privately held, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with investment objectives and long-term plans.
• Partner with senior leadership on capital allocation, investment decisions, risk management and performance.
• Oversee annual budgets, forecasts, financial modeling and management reporting.
• Evaluate financial results, identify trends and improve liquidity and efficiency.
• Manage relationships with banks, lenders, investors and capital providers.
• Lead or support debt and equity financing, refinancing and capital structure optimization.
• Support acquisition, disposition and development decisions through financial analysis.
• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors and legal counsel.
• Present financial results and investment analyses to leadership and stakeholders.
