Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of accounting and financial controllership experience in real estate (residential/commercial).
• Strong financial analysis skills in Excel.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar property management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks related to property assets and investments.
• Partner with the CEO to develop long-term financial strategies and drive growth.
• Oversee asset performance, profitability and valuation; implement optimization strategies.
• Oversee tax planning and coordination with third-party professionals.
• Manage relationships with lenders, secure financing, and ensure loan compliance.
• Lead, mentor and develop accounting professionals.
• Oversee financial systems implementation (Yardi Voyager) and drive process improvements.
• Drive IT initiatives and establish IT controls; ensure regulatory compliance.
