Job summary

Orchard is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to guide the finance organization through a growth phase. The role reports to the CEO and oversees FP&A, Strategic Finance, and Accounting to deliver rigorous financial analysis and budgeting.

Based in New York City with openness to remote for Denver or Austin, this full-time position aims to drive profitability toward Q4 2026 and beyond, balancing high growth with financial discipline.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in financial leadership roles.
Systems thinking with the ability to lead teams through a mix of personal leadership and process discipline.
Investor's mindset—ability to zoom out and into granular detail from a financial perspective.
Entrepreneurial, high energy, action-oriented in fast-moving environments.
Strong customer focus, curiosity, and comfort making decisions under uncertainty.

Responsibilities

Manage FP&A, Strategic Finance, and Accounting teams (8 people).
Build a culture of financial discipline that supports both high growth and profitability.
Foster intelligent, calculated risk-taking across the organization.
Partner with other departments to support their success.
Serve as a representative for Orchard in the market and shape workplace culture.
Lead the company toward profitable, sustainable growth.
