Job summary

La Salle Academy in Providence, Rhode Island seeks a Business Operations Specialist/Executive Assistant to act as a principal operational connector between the CFO, the Business Office, and the broader school community.

The role covers finance, IT, facilities, HR, and auxiliary programs, including contract lifecycles, onboarding, leave paperwork, and strategic administrative support to the CFO.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years in executive administration or operations (school setting preferred).
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace; strong document management skills.
• Highly organized with discretion handling confidential employment and financial data.
• Experience in a school environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as cross-functional operations liaison across Finance, IT, Facilities, HR, and Auxiliary Programs.
• Manage contracts, onboarding, exit, and leave paperwork; provide executive support to the CFO.
• Maintain office policies and coordinate calendars, meetings, and minutes.
• Act as intake point for sensitive inquiries and triage to leadership as needed.
