Goldman Sachs is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a new evergreen private markets platform within External Investing Group (XIG) based in New York, NY. The role partners with Co-CEOs and Lead Portfolio Managers to oversee financial reporting, valuation, compliance, and capital planning for a global wealth client base.

Qualifications

• Hands-on financial leadership experience in asset management or private markets.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with SEC filings, SOX, valuations and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in evergreen private markets offerings is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting and SEC compliance for evergreen funds.
• Lead valuation and NAV oversight in collaboration with Controllers and Lead PMs.
• Ensure 40 Act/RIC compliance in portfolio construction and distributions.
• Manage liquidity and tender offer planning with senior leadership.
