Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is hiring a Chief Financial Officer for its Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) team. This in-office role focuses on leading CFO functions for multiple client engagements with minimal travel.

You will drive financial policy, capital planning, budgeting, and strategic guidance, building strong client relationships and serving as a thought leader in the profession.

Qualifications

• 8 years of accounting/financial experience required.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Perform CFO functions as part of the client’s accounting services team.
• Identify and implement best practices to add client value.
• Set financial policy with clients and drive overall strategy.
• Lead capital planning, risk management, KPI analysis, and board interactions.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Coordinate audits and monitor financial controls across engagements.
