Job summary

West Monroe is seeking Consulting Interns to join our Office of the CFO Advisory Practice. As a CFO Advisory Consulting Intern, you will transform clients’ accounting, budgeting, planning, and financial reporting through process improvements, core technologies, AI, automation, organization redesign, and operating model refinements.

You’ll collaborate with a project team to identify opportunities in close, reporting and analytics, support ERP selections and implementations, and apply AI tools to

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree with expected graduation Dec 2027–Aug 2028.
• Official transcripts required before start of internship.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Residence within 50 miles of assigned office; hybrid work model.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Experience integrating AI tools into day-to-day workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a project team to assist CFOs in improving financial close, reporting, forecasting and analytics.
• Assess current state processes and technology enablement within the CFO Office.
• Develop transformational roadmaps to modernize financial processes and IT landscapes.
• Contribute to ERP selection and implementation including design, configuration, testing and deployment.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and provide data-driven recommendations.
