Job summary

Randstad has been retained to recruit a Chief Financial Officer for a Las Vegas construction firm. The CFO will drive financial strategy across multiple LLCs, own accounting operations, and oversee a 5-person team in a fast-changing environment.

Salary ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 per year with a first shift, 8 AM–4 PM, and a Bachelor's degree as a baseline qualification. Randstad offers comprehensive benefits and a strong leadership role.

Qualifications

• 10 years of executive-level accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience directing large accounting teams and multi-entity structures.

Responsibilities

• Direct specialized accounting operations, including job costing, ASC 606 revenue recognition, WIP schedules, and progress billings using AIA documentation.
• Manage, mentor, and hold a 5-person accounting and HR team accountable to deadlines and high performance standards.
• Implement a structured month-end and year-end close process with GAAP-compliant statements and audit-ready records.
• Utilize Vista Viewpoint or Sage to maintain ledger integrity and optimize workflows.
• Establish robust controls to prevent fraud while ensuring lien laws and subcontractor documentation compliance.
• Oversee payroll compliance and multi-state tax strategies while optimizing working capital.
• Drive AP/AR and liquidity management to eliminate cash bottlenecks.

Randstad has been retained by a multi-entity construction firm in the Las Vegas valley to recruit a CFO. This is a critical leadership position for a tactical, proactive finance executive ready to make an immediate operational impact.

Managing financial strategies across multiple active LLCs, the ideal candidate will take swift ownership of accounting operations, optimize core processes, and provide steady leadership through an exciting period of organizational transition.

salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Direct specialized accounting operations, including job costing, ASC 606 revenue recognition, WIP schedules, and progress billings using AIA documentation.
• Manage, mentor, and hold a 5-person accounting and HR team accountable to strict deadlines and high performance standards.
• Implement a structured month-end and year-end close process to produce accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements, trial balances, and audit-ready records.
• Utilize industry-standard construction software (such as Vista Viewpoint or Sage) to maintain general ledger integrity and optimize financial workflows.
• Establish robust financial controls to prevent fraud while ensuring compliance with lien laws, joint check agreements, and subcontractor documentation.
• Oversee certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance in an open-shop environment, while optimizing multi-state tax strategies, fuel credits, and equipment write-offs.
• Drive accounts payable, accounts receivable, and liquidity management to maintain optimal working capital and eliminate cash bottlenecks.
