Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its finance leadership team in a hands-on capacity. You will oversee general ledger operations, lead the month-end close, and support payroll compliance across a multi-entity environment while driving process improvements.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with executive leadership, and contribute to ERP projects and ongoing systems initiatives to optimize financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 5+ years of accounting leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close.
• Experience managing payroll processes and compliance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with ERP implementation, migration, or optimization.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Supervise General Ledger team members.
• Provide leadership across accounting operations including payables, receivables, and payroll.
• Review financial statements and perform variance and flux analysis.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
• Establish and improve accounting procedures, controls, and workflows.
• Maintain fixed asset accounting including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Oversee sales and use tax filings.
• Support external audits and other compliance initiatives.
• Partner cross-functionally with operational and finance teams.
• Participate in ERP implementation, optimization, and migration projects.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives.

Accounting Manager

A well-established and growing construction organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its finance leadership team. This is a hands-on role responsible for overseeing general ledger operations, leading the month-end close process, supporting payroll compliance, and driving accounting process improvements across a multi-entity environment.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership, mentor accounting staff, and play a key role in ongoing ERP and systems initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Supervise and develop General Ledger team members
• Provide leadership across accounting operations, including indirect oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
• Review financial statements and perform variance and flux analysis
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Establish and improve accounting procedures, controls, and workflows
• Maintain fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
• Oversee sales and use tax filings
• Support external audits and other compliance initiatives

Required Qualifications
