Job summary

Turbine Engine Solutions in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced CFM56 Aircraft Engine Inspector to join our FAA-certified Part 145 repair station.

You will perform preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final quality control inspections on CFM56-3, -5, and -7 engine components, ensuring all work adheres to OEM manuals and FAA data.

The successful candidate must hold an active FAA Powerplant license, possess borescope inspection skills, and read complex technical documentation with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Active FAA Powerplant license is required.
• Experience performing borescope inspections.
• Ability to read and follow OEM manuals and service letters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• English language fluency required; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary, in-process, and final inspections on CFM56 components.
• Ensure inspection tools and calibration data are current.
• Verify alterations, repairs, and maintenance for return to service.
• Interpret OEM manuals, engine routers, blueprints, and service letters.
• Assist with troubleshooting and scripted rework testing as needed.
• Maintain strict inventory control and parts tracking on the shop floor.
