Job summary

TURBINE ENGINE SPECIALISTS INC is seeking a CFE Engine Mechanic in Fort Worth, TX to perform inspection, disassembly, repair, overhaul, assembly and testing support for Honeywell CFE738 turbofan engines. You will ensure airworthiness, quality and on-time customer delivery in a busy shop environment.

The role requires high school completion, aviation maintenance schooling, and preferred A&P certification, with 2–5 years of turbofan experience and familiarity with FAA Part 145 procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Aviation Maintenance Technology school preferred.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred.
• 2–5 years of turbofan engine maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with Honeywell CFE738 engines highly preferred.
• Knowledge of FAA Part 145 repair station operations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, disassembly, repair, overhaul, assembly and testing support for Honeywell CFE738 engines.
• Disassemble engines and modules following OEM procedures and repair station requirements.
• Conduct visual, dimensional and detailed inspections of engine components.
• Identify damaged or unserviceable parts for repair or disposition.
• Assemble engines and install/rig engine accessories and systems.
• Support engine test cell operations, troubleshooting and performance adjustments.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins and technical drawings.
