Job summary

StandardAero Augusta is seeking a Licensed A&P Mechanic II to join the Engine Shop. You will overhaul, inspect, and perform heavy maintenance on Honeywell TFE731 and HTF7000 turbofan engines, applying advanced troubleshooting and precise measurements.

The ideal candidate holds an FAA A&P license, has strong mechanical skills, and thrives in an MRO environment to keep corporate jets flying safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 year of experience performing heavy maintenance on turbine engines
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in an overhaul, military depot, or MRO environment.
• Must have a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair engines and APUs with precision tools.
• Reference OEM manuals to perform maintenance and inspections.
• Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on Honeywell turbofan engines.
• Disassemble and re-assemble engines per OEM specs.
• Remove and reinstall engines during major inspections.
• Conduct engine runs and line maintenance.
• Document work clearly and accurately.
• Address Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives.
• Participate in ongoing training with CAE, FlightSafety, Honeywell.
