Job summary

Pride Global is seeking a simulation-focused Mechanical Engineer III in Fremont, CA. You will perform CFD and multiphysics simulations, model chemical reactions, and support design of gas delivery systems and processing equipment. The role emphasizes validation with data and cross-functional collaboration.

The position is a 24‑month contract with onsite work Monday–Friday. Strong experience with ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, COMSOL, and related tools is required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with CFD and multiphysics simulations.
• Experience with chemical reaction modeling and reacting-flow CFD.
• Solid knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CFD and multiphysics simulations of fluid/gas flow, heat and mass transfer.
• Develop models for chemical reactions and reaction kinetics.
• Conduct reacting-flow simulations and coupled analyses.
• Support design of gas delivery systems and process equipment.
• Calibrate models with experimental data and present results.
