Job summary

Global Connect Technologies seeks an engineer to perform 1D and 3D CFD analysis of cooling components and systems, applying solid foundations in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer. You will conduct simulations with ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM, and GT-SUITE, develop meshes with ANSA/ANSYS Workbench/SpaceClaim, and use Creo for engineering analysis.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Agricultural, Aerospace, or related field and 1+ years of relevant experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 1+ years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in cooling system performance and CFD/1D simulation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of machines, engines, battery/electric systems, or related product development processes.

Responsibilities

• Support 1D and 3D CFD analysis of cooling components and systems.
• Apply strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
• Perform cooling system simulations using ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, or OpenFOAM.
• Work with GT-SUITE for 1D thermal-fluid analysis.
• Develop and evaluate meshes using ANSA, ANSYS Workbench, or SpaceClaim.
• Use Creo or similar CAD tools for engineering analysis.
• Apply programming skills in Python, C++, or Java.
• Support analysis of diesel engines, powertrain cooling, and electrification systems.
• Support product development through thermal and cooling system performance analysis.
• Analyze results, identify issues, and recommend engineering solutions.
