Job summary

National Community Reinvestment Corporation seeks a Chief Finance and Administration Officer (CFAO) to lead finance, operations, IT, and risk management. The role advises the President/CEO and reports to the Board, ensuring financial health, governance, and organizational sustainability for a nonprofit mission-driven organization.

The CFAO partners across functions to strengthen internal controls, strategic planning, and enterprise risk management while fostering equity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in finance, operations and administration, preferably in nonprofit sector.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification required.
• Experience with GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, audit and regulatory compliance.
• Strong governance knowledge and board engagement.
• Experience overseeing operations and IT functions and managing contracts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to President/CEO and Senior Exec Team on vision and priorities.
• Staff liaison to Board of Directors, Finance Committee; prepare governance materials.
• Lead financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Manage cash flow, banking, investments, and external audits.
• Oversee operations, facilities, procurement, vendor management, and internal controls.
• Provide IT strategic oversight, security, continuity planning, and policy governance.
• Lead risk management and compliance programs across the organization.
• Represent the organization with external financial partners and regulators.
