Job summary

A Confidential Firm in Miami is seeking a Chief Financial & Administrative Officer (CFAO) to serve as the financial backbone, overseeing budgeting, controls, and scalable operations for a growing hedge fund platform.

The role reports to the Founder/CIO and collaborates with the COO, Legal & Compliance leaders, and senior stakeholders to preserve agility and culture while strengthening organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive financial and operational leadership experience in investment management or hedge funds.
• 10+ years in a senior or executive capacity.
• Experience building scalable operational infrastructure in entrepreneurial environments.
• Strong executive judgment and high-trust leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, cash management and reporting.
• Maintain financial controls, governance, and reporting discipline across the firm.
• Partner with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and consultants.
• Provide clear financial insights to inform strategic decisions.
