Kiwa PPI is expanding its Quality Control team in Ogden, Utah to perform and witness inspections and testing per industry standards, customer specifications, and internal procedures. The role requires engaging with suppliers as a Customer Representative and generating accurate inspection reports.

The position supports active quality programs, maintains calibration status, and ensures technician certifications are current.

Qualifikationen

• Current CWI certification
• 5+ years shop inspection experience
• Understanding of third-party inspection processes (NDE, FAT, Assembly, etc.)
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes (API, ASNT, ASME, NACE, DS-1, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and co-workers
• Basic PC skills and spreadsheet familiarity
• Ability to work long hours and weekends if necessary
• Good decision-making for day-to-day operations

Aufgaben

• Witness inspections and testing per plans and standards
• Verify calibration/certification of equipment
• Validate technician certification status
• Interface professionally with suppliers as Customer Representative
• Generate reports documenting inspection results
• Provide clear, concise reports on activities
• Meet HSSE objectives and follow safety guidelines
• Communicate job progression and results to Coordinator/Customer
• Promote safe work practices on site
• Comply with Kiwa PPI Quality Management System
