Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to support the manufacturing of high-quality modular structures.

The role ensures welding operations meet applicable codes, engineering requirements, quality standards, and customer expectations throughout the fabrication process. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on professional with strong structural welding inspection experience who is passionate about quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Current AWS CWI certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years welding inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret welding symbols and drawings.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Experience with FCAW, GMAW, and SMAW processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of welded components and assemblies throughout fabrication and final assembly.
• Verify compliance with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and applicable welding codes.
• Inspect structural steel frames, skids, lifting assemblies, and modular components.
• Document nonconformances and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Maintain inspection reports and participate in root cause investigations.
