Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) / NDT Level II Inspector to join our Oklahoma City team. The role focuses on testing and inspection of structural steel during erection on building and pipeline sites, with occasional plant inspections.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, AWS CWI, D1.1, and blueprint reading skills; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Willingness to work off-shift schedules and overtime as needed.
• AWS CWI Certification.
• D1.1 Structural Steel and Level II Ultrasonics experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency with Windows and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct analysis, inspection, testing, and evaluation to assure product quality and record results.
• Perform visual inspections of welded products for defects on in-progress and finished work.
• Document data from quality assurance activities per company policies.
• Communicate issues or developments and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Measure dimensions to verify conformance to specifications using measuring tools.
