Job summary

NOVA Engineering is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) based from our Tallahassee, FL location. Primary duties include performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests (masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, etc.).

Responsibilities: perform inspections in accordance with code and project requirements; interpret plans and specifications; conduct field testing; review plans; communicate results with contractors, engineers and others; input results into daily reports.

Qualifications

• Current AWS CWI with Structural or Bridge experience.
• NDT Level II Magnetic Particle (MT) and Level II Ultrasonic (UT) Shearwave a plus.

Requirements:

• Current AWS CWI with Structural or Bridge Experience
• NDT Level II Magnetic Particle (MT) and Level II Ultrasonic (UT) Shearwave a plus
