Job summary

NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) based at our local office. Primary duties include performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests for masonry, reinforced concrete, and structural steel.

Qualifications

• Current AWS CWI with structural or bridge experience.
• NDT Level II MT and Level II UT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements.
• Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are met.
• Perform field testing and inspections.
• Review plans and specifications, perform inspections accordingly; communicate results with contractors and engineers.
• Input results and observations into daily reports.
