Qualifications

• Must possess HS Diploma or equivalent and maintain licenses: AWS CWI; ICC Structural Steel & Bolting Special Inspector.
• Experience performing structural steel and bolting inspections in accordance with project specs and industry standards.
• Ability to read plans and to perform basic quantities and engineering computations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to project sites daily for inspections.
• Monitor fabrication and construction activities; inspect welding and structural steel per plans, specs, codes and standards.
• Review welding procedures and inspect welded connections; coordinate NDT activities; document findings.
