A leading equipment sales company is seeking an entry-level S&I Welder/Fabricator based in Crossville, Alabama. The individual will be responsible for safely operating mechanical tools, traveling across the U.S., and assisting with various equipment tasks. Benefits include guaranteed hours, overtime pay, $50 daily per diem, paid travel, and health insurance. Applicants must be able to lift 75 pounds, read prints, and work in team settings.

S&I Welder/Fabricator

Reports To: S&I Manager, S&I On-Site Project Manager, and S&I Lead

Summary of Position: Individual must possess the physical and mental ability to safely operate mechanical tools such as grinders, TIG welders, and basic hand tools (vise grips, square, hammer, and wrenches).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Travel all over the continental U.S. for long periods.
• Move, lift, and assemble equipment.
• Work weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Assist in all areas as needed or required by S&I management.
• Follow directions and instructions provided by S&I Manager, S&I On-Site Project Manager, and S&I Lead.

Required Skills & Experience

• Mathematical skills, including adding and subtracting fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read prints and spec sheets (preferred).
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Work safely in all situations.
• Interpret tape measure in 16ths of an inch.
• Work with others in a team environment.
• Drive a lift truck (plus, though not required).
• Successfully complete TIG weld test (preferred).
