Uni-Form Components Corp. is seeking a skilled Certified Welder to join our Houston production team. You will perform high-quality welding in accordance with Company procedures, customer specifications, and applicable welding codes.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, setting up and maintaining welding equipment, inspecting welds, and collaborating with multiple departments to meet schedules. A safety-focused, detail-oriented mindset is essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Current welding certification or ability to pass the Company weld qualification test.
  • Experience with MIG and Flux-Core welding preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
  • Knowledge of measuring tools and fabrication equipment.
  • Strong attention to quality and workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Perform structural and production welding using approved welding procedures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Perform grinding, fitting, and finishing as required.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Work closely with supervisors, Quality, and other production departments to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Uni-Form Components Corp. (UCC) is seeking a skilled Certified Welder to join our production team. The Certified Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welding in accordance with Company procedures, customer specifications, and applicable welding codes. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to produce quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform structural and production welding using approved welding procedures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
  • Perform grinding, fitting, and finishing as required
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
  • Work closely with supervisors, Quality, and other production departments to meet production schedules
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
