Job summary

United Equipment Accessories, Inc. seeks a Welder to fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications. The role involves MIG, TIG, or arc welding, reading blueprints, and maintaining safe, efficient work practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; AWS welding certification or technical training preferred.
  • Proven experience in welding, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and welding equipment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
  • Understanding of and commitment to workplace safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

The Welder is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components according to technical specifications and quality standards. Using welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding. This position ensures strong, precise, and high-quality welds that meet production requirements. The ideal candidate is skilled in reading blueprints, problem-solving, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Work Environment & Conditions

The Welder works in a production environment with exposure to heat, sparks, and welding fumes. Requires extended periods of standing, bending, and manual labor. Heavy lifting, maneuvering metal components, and handling tools are part of daily tasks. PPE including welding helmets, gloves, fire-resistant clothing, steel-toed footwear, and safety glasses, must be worn in designated areas.
