Water Otter Job Board is seeking a dedicated Water & Wastewater Operator in Houston to operate, maintain, and monitor treatment facilities. You will ensure compliance with environmental regulations, handle data entry, and support plant safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred Dual C Water/Wastewater operator certification.
• Valid driver license required.
• Familiar with and can learn industry software and plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and monitor equipment and processes to ensure proper operation.
• Conduct regular tests on chemical levels, water quality, and equipment operations.
• Monitor water quality and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Record and report accurate operational data and performance metrics.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on treatment equipment and systems, including SCADA and VFDs.
• Oversee grounds and building maintenance and support safety procedures.
