Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of relevant CT Class I Water Treatment Operator Certification is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine water and wastewater tests, collect regulatory samples, and enter data into logs with accuracy.
• Operate and troubleshoot pumps, valves, motors, and related equipment as directed.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the facility and report safety concerns.
• Respond to on-call emergencies within a 30-minute window when scheduled.
• Assist in training staff and ensuring compliance with procedures.
