Job summary

H2O Innovation is seeking a Certified Water Treatment Operator to operate and oversee drinking water treatment facilities in Weston, CT. You will conduct routine water and wastewater tests, enter data, collect regulatory samples, and make process control decisions when authorized, while performing basic maintenance and repairs.

The role is full-time and includes weekend shifts. The position requires maintaining relevant certifications, adhering to safety guidelines, and availability for on-call

Qualifications

• Possession of a Connecticut Class I Water Treatment Operator Certification (or higher) is required.
• An additional wastewater certification is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine water and wastewater tests, enter test results and readings with accuracy.
• Collect regulatory samples and meter readings; report abnormalities to the manager.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform maintenance and repairs under direction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility; ensure safety compliance.
• Respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes when scheduled.
