Job summary

The position requires valid PA certification, a trainee program or equivalent credential, and a PA Class C driver's license. Normal hours are 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, with a non-telework expectation and full-time status.

Qualifications

• Completion of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Trainee program or equivalent certification.
• Valid PA State Board certification as a wastewater treatment plant operator.
• Active PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate wastewater treatment and laboratory equipment to maintain proper processes.
• Collect samples, perform daily analyses, and record results for compliance.
• Inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and manage startup/shutdown procedures.
• Log production data and track chemical usage for required reports.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly plant environment.
