Job summary

Saint Francis Veterinary Center of South Jersey in Swedesboro, NJ, is seeking a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Thrive Pet Healthcare specialty surgery team. The role focuses on end-to-end patient care, from outpatient treatments to lab work, within a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) required.
  • Experience with epidurals, high-risk anesthesia, aseptic technique, sterile field maintenance, CRI calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end care for patients, including outpatient treatments and laboratory tests.
  • Assist doctors and support admitting/discharging patients.
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and communication with team.

Saint Francis Veterinary Center of South Jersey is looking for a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Specialty Surgery team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Swedesboro, NJ.

About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Your Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) required
  • Superior/advanced technical skills, including experience with epidurals, high-risk anesthesia, aseptic technique, sterile field maintenance, CRI calculations etc.
  • Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
  • Possesses a positive work attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $29 - $35 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
