WellHaven Pet Health is seeking a Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians, educate clients, and provide compassionate patient care. This onsite role demands excellent communication, accuracy in medical charting, and teamwork to ensure high-quality outcomes for pets and families.

The position requires the ability to handle animals of various sizes, operate in a fast-paced clinic, and adhere to safety and OSHA standards. Schedule may include extended shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree a plus.
• Must hold and maintain CVT/RVT/LVT licensing per state requirements.
• Minimum 1+ year veterinary hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examination, treatment, and monitoring of animals.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed; monitor vital signs.
• Prepare surgical suites and assist in procedures while monitoring anesthesia.
