Eastlake Veterinary Services is looking to add a full-time Credentialed Veterinary Technician to their team!
As a Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing care for our precious patients. Your work will range from hands-on care, facilitating outpatient treatments, performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
- Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
- Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with your state's Veterinary Practice Act outlined for credentialed veterinary technicians.
- Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and treatments.
- Maintain medical records with the support of practice systems.
- Obtain health history from clients and maintain medical charts.
- Use safe restraining techniques, follow protocols, and keep treatment areas clean and organized.
- Mentor and support fellow team members.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
- Active LVT/RVT or CVT license (Required)
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical veterinary experience
- Experience with digital radiography
- Assist with surgery prep, assistance, and post-op care
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by a veterinarian
- Positive work attitude, self-motivated, excellent communication, and organization skills
- Strong technical skills and a commitment to a stress-free environment for patients
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience, starting at $21-$27/hour. Actual rate depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
