We are seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician at The Center for Animal Wellness to join our expanding team and help us provide exceptional experiences. Position Skills

• Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms
• Laboratory procedures including hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
• Diagnostic imaging and safety protocols implementation
• Nursing skills: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring
• Proficient in dental prophylaxis

Position Requirements

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) or ability to transfer credentials
• Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology

Benefits

Pay range of $24.00- $26.00 per hour based on experience.
