Job Title: Certified Veterinary Technician

Location: Portland, Oregon

Practice: Cat and Dog Hospital of Portland

Schedule: Full-time, 4 ten-hour days, open 8-6 Monday-Saturday

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Certified Veterinary Technician to support our three-doctor practice. Our hospital is a Fear Free/Cat Friendly facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Our team is dedicated to high-quality medicine, gentle handling, and excellent customer service. The role involves assisting doctors with patient care, venipuncture, cystogenesis, dentistry, surgery, and nursing care. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and a willingness to learn and collaborate.

Qualifications
  • Experience in dentistry, surgery, and nursing care
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Cornerstone veterinary software is a plus
Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range: $29.00/hr (full range $29.00/hr - $29.00/hr)
