We are looking for an experienced full-time or part-time Certified Veterinary Technician to provide quality patient care at our two doctor small animal practice, where we primarily see feline patients. Candidates should have experience working in the veterinary field, have foundational technical skills (such as phlebotomy and anesthesia monitoring), and be comfortable assisting veterinarians in surgical procedures. Experience with Cornerstone and IDEXX is preferred but not required.

The technician must have skills/knowledge on how to perform dental cleanings, charting teeth abnormalities, anesthesia induction and monitoring, surgical preparation, intravenous catheter placement, vaccination administration, venipuncture, in-house lab work, and filling prescriptions. Our new Team Member must work well with others as well as independently, take initiative and thrive in a busy work environment.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Wisconsin is required.
