Job description

We offer a variety of services from dermatology to oncology, including routine wellness, vaccinations, microchip implantation, comprehensive dental care, x-ray, ultrasound, spay and neuter procedures, K-Laser therapy, veterinary-supervised boarding, and end-of-life care.

Our facility features an in-house laboratory and a state-of-the-art surgical suite equipped for both routine and emergency procedures.

PVVC is a 5-doctor practice supported by an exceptional Hospital Manager and a dedicated team of 6 Veterinary Technicians, 2 Kennel Technicians, 3 Kennel Technicians/Vet Tech Assistants, and 4 Client Service Representatives. We are looking for the right veterinarian to grow with us!

We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team and help us deliver exceptional client and patient experiences. As a Veterinary Technician, you will have access to a peer network of over 5,000 professionals, continuing education allowances, and learning and development programs to support your career growth.

Position Skills:

1. Professional client communication and education, including obtaining medical histories and symptoms.
2. Laboratory procedures such as hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecal analysis.
3. Diagnostic imaging and maintaining safety protocols for staff.
4. Nursing skills including patient restraint, medication administration (PO/IV/SUBQ/IM), bandage application, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, surgical preparation, and anesthesia monitoring.
5. Proficiency in dental prophylaxis.

Position Requirements:

1. Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials between states.
2. Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology.
