We offer a variety of services from dermatology to oncology, including routine wellness, vaccinations, microchipping, dental care, x-ray, ultrasound, spay, neuter, K-Laser therapy, veterinary supervised boarding, and end-of-life care.

Our facilities include an in-house laboratory and a state-of-the-art veterinary surgery room equipped for routine and emergency procedures.

PVVC is a 5-doctor practice with an exceptional Hospital Manager and a support team comprising 6 Veterinary Technicians, 2 Kennel Technicians, 3 Kennel Tech/Vet Tech Assistants, and 4 CSRs. We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team and help us provide excellent care.

As a Veterinary Technician, you will have access to a peer network of over 5,000 professionals, CE allowances, and Learning & Development programs to support your career growth.

Position Skills

• Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms
• Laboratory procedures including hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
• Diagnostic imaging and safety protocol implementation
• Nursing skills: restraining patients, administering medications, applying bandages, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring
• Proficiency in dental prophylaxis

Position Requirements

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) or ability to transfer credentials
• Associates degree in Veterinary Technology

Pay Range

$20.00-$23.00+ per hour, based on experience
