Position: Certified Veterinary Technician - Grafton Location

Working with the Emergency and Critical Care Department.

Compensation:

Competitive based on skill level, starting at $20/hr and up! Higher rate for CVT!

Responsibilities:

• Perform all essential duties of a Certified Veterinary Technician.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and activity appropriately.
• Support veterinarians and assist other departments as needed.
• Provide comfort, diagnostic, surgical, and nursing care, including for critical patients.
• Perform anesthetic monitoring during emergent and critical care procedures.
• Obtain and prepare diagnostic samples (blood draws, cystocentesis, etc.).
• Conduct laboratory procedures (blood typing, crossmatching, etc.).
• Take and process radiographs following safety protocols.
• Use and maintain medical equipment properly.
• Communicate professionally with clients.
• Maintain a clean, safe hospital environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of clients and patients.
• Meet or exceed performance and attendance standards.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong desire to learn and apply new skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate technical procedures as per protocols.
• Reliable with follow-through on tasks.
• Fluent in English; multilingual skills are a plus.
