Job summary

ConnectedHealth in California is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in a full-time role near Palm Springs. You will operate imaging equipment, prepare and position patients, and collaborate with healthcare teams to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

The ideal candidate graduated from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, holds ARDMS certification, and meets California credentials.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Ultrasound Technology program.
ARDMS certification required or preferred depending on facility.
Current California credentials applicable to the position.
Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment, imaging protocols, and patient positioning.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations per physician orders and protocols.
Operate ultrasound equipment and capture high-quality diagnostic images.
Prepare, position, and educate patients throughout examinations.
Evaluate images for quality and ensure appropriate anatomy is visualized.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Assist physicians and healthcare professionals with diagnostic procedures.
Follow patient safety, infection-control, and quality-assurance standards.
Maintain equipment and report technical concerns as needed.
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and staff.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with facility policies and regulations.
