Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations per physician orders and protocols.
Operate ultrasound equipment and capture high-quality diagnostic images.
Prepare, position, and educate patients throughout examinations.
Evaluate images for quality and ensure appropriate anatomy is visualized.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Assist physicians and healthcare professionals with diagnostic procedures.
Follow patient safety, infection-control, and quality-assurance standards.
Maintain equipment and report technical concerns as needed.
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and staff.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with facility policies and regulations.
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Ultrasound Technology program.
ARDMS certification required or preferred based on facility requirements.
Current California-required credentials applicable to the position.
Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment, imaging protocols, and patient positioning.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Relevant ARDMS specialty certification such as Abdomen or OB/GYN
Current BLS certification
Previous experience as an Ultrasound Tech, Ultrasound Technologist, or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
ARDMS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements
You hold ARDMS certification and California credentials. You have experience performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations independently. You excel at patient communication and equipment maintenance
