Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Palmdale Regional Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound at a skilled technical level. You will follow all legal guidelines and participate in quality improvement to support high‑quality imaging services in the community.

The role requires ARDMS certification or eligibility, 2–3 years of ultrasound training, and strong communication skills to work with Radiology staff and patients in Palmdale, CA.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of ultrasound training under supervision.
• ARDMS certification or eligible.
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program and 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures at a skilled technical level following guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients; verify orders and obtain consent as needed.
• Communicate findings with Radiologist and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain equipment, documents education in the chart and ensure quality control.
