Job summary

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technician to join their team in Massachusetts. Credentials from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) are required, along with a commitment to patient care and safety. Qualifications

• Must be credentialed by ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• All certifications and registrations must be maintained, active and current.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ultrasound technology to produce images for medical diagnosis.
• Prepare patients and equipment for ultrasound examinations.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Evaluate ultrasound images for technical quality.
• Assist physicians with special procedures and needle biopsies.
• Maintain departmental policies, procedures, and records.

Ability to read, write and communicate in English

BLS certification

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology

Credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)

Registered in Abdomen and OB/GYN by ARDMS within one year of hire
