Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for full-time Ultrasound duties across general, transplant, abdominal and pediatric imaging. The role requires ARDMS certification and a two-year college background, with 40-hour weeks and evening shift coverage.

You will operate ultrasound equipment, prepare patients, document findings, and maintain accurate records while adhering to safety standards and department protocols.

Qualifications

• Required: Specialized post-secondary training equal to two years of college.
• Registration required by the ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers).
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures (General, Transplant, Abdominal, Pediatric) per dept. protocols.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and records images for physicians.
• Maintains patient care, safety, and accurate documentation.
