Job summary

Babilou Family US, part of a global network of 1,100 early education centers, is seeking a Certified Teacher to create a safe, sustainable learning environment for children aged 0-5. You will design high-quality curriculum, guide a teaching team, and model practices that support long-term wellbeing and family partnerships.

This role emphasizes developmentally appropriate practice, environmental stewardship, and collaboration with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to sustainable education practices and environmental stewardship.
• Active teaching certification as required by state licensing.
• Experience teaching young children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of child development, curriculum design, and classroom safety standards.
• Ability to lead classroom operations and mentor support staff.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement daily lesson plans aligned with developmentally appropriate practice and sustainable education principles.
• Lead classroom organization and routines that promote environmental responsibility and stewardship.
• Model best practices for the teaching team and ensure high‑quality instructional delivery.
• Supervise children during learning activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor exploration with safety as a priority.
• Engage families and communities through conferences, events, and regular communication.
