Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health in Naperville, IL seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for full-time (36 hours/week). 11:00am–11:00pm shifts with rotating evenings, overnights, weekends, and on-call. A $10,000–$15,000 sign-on bonus is available based on shift and experience.

The role requires graduation from an accredited CST program and CPR certification; if not certified at hire, certification must be obtained within 18 months. Prior OR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technician program or equivalent.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
• If applicant does not possess certification at time of hire, must obtain it within 18 months of hire date.
• Preferred: Previous Surgery/OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as a surgical scrub person by performing tasks before, during and after surgery to assist the surgical team.
