Job summary

Decatur Memorial Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a full-time, day-shift role (6:45am-3:15pm) with call. The CST supports the surgical team, maintains sterile technique, and ensures availability of case-specific supplies.

Requirements include completion of a formal Surgical Technologist program (or nearing graduation) and CST certification within 6 months. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Surgical Technologist Program or in the last semester is REQUIRED.
• CST certification due within 6 months after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile environment for surgical patients of all ages and pass instruments and supplies.
• Support the surgical team during procedures and ensure availability of case-specific supplies.
