Responsibilities

• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and informs the circulating nurse during procedures.
• Maintains high standards to support cost savings and quality.
• Assembles supplies, equipment, and medications prior to procedures.
• Supports satisfaction initiatives and maintains good relationships with staff and physicians.
• Monitors aseptic technique and corrects breaches immediately.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and safety standards are followed.
• Supervises team members and aids in orientation and training.
• Assists in OR turnover and safe patient/environment management.
