Job summary

Community Health Network in Kokomo, IN seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to scrub on diverse surgical cases in the main Operating Room. You will assist surgeons, anticipate needs, and uphold sterile/aseptic technique to ensure patient safety and efficiency.

Qualifications include a CAAHEP/ABHES or NCCT-accredited program (or military training with DD214), NBSTSA certification within six months, and preferably 1 year of OR experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAAHEP- or ABHES-accredited Surgical Technology program OR NCCT-authorized school with GED or high school diploma; Associate degree preferred.
• Military Training Program graduates must provide DD214 and graduation cert.
• NBSTSA certification required within six months of hire.
• 1 year operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub on a variety of surgical cases in the OR.
• Assist surgeons and anticipate needs during procedures.
• Maintain sterile and aseptic technique throughout cases.
