NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team in New York, NY. The role requires completion of a certified Surgical Technologist program and NBSTSA certification within six months of hire, plus a high school diploma or GED.

Preferred Criteria

• Prior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting

Required Criteria

• Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Certification (NBSTSA) or if a new graduate, must supply exam date prior to start of employment. Certification must be obtained within six months of hire and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire
• Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as on O.R. Technician/Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting
• High school diploma or GED
