Job summary

Martha's Vineyard Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our dedicated surgical team. You will be responsible for providing intraoperative care to surgical patients, assisting surgeons, maintaining sterile fields, and ensuring high standards of patient safety.

This position requires a high school diploma, CST certification, and relevant experience. The role operates on-site at One Hospital Road, Oak Bluffs, MA. A generous sign-on bonus of $10,000 is offered. In addition, competitive hourly pay in the range of $29.90 to $62.11 is available.

Qualifications

• Must have prior O.R. experience of 0-1 year.
• Completion of a surgical technologist training program in the military or other service corps preferred.
• Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required.

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative care to the surgical patient.
• Maintain sterile field and assist the surgical team.
• Participate in cleanup and sterilization of instruments post-operation.
